THE ‘STARSLINGER’ COLLECTION
The STARSLINGER Collection is rooted in my lifelong fascination with the open universe. Something that immediately humbles me the moment I look up. I’ve ventured into the darkest, most remote places on earth, from Mongolia to Mozambique, Lapland to Big Bend, AlUla to the Mentawai Islands, to the Amazonas… all far from the noise of modern life. It’s there that the stars reveal themselves in their grandeur. Those quiet, yet overwhelming moments have always pulled me in, reminding me how small we all are. We are just cosmic star dust. However, while some may find that insignificant, I find that beautiful. We are infinitely lucky to be here, breathing, conscious, and connected to something far greater. That sense of awe and wonder is what drives this work.
Set across frontiers around the world, the series follows figures who exist on the edge of the known…Riders, Wanderers, Explorers, and Solitary Silhouettes moving through vast landscapes beneath infinite skies. These images are less about location and more about a shared human experience. In these places, the frontier becomes universal, and the night sky becomes a constant companion, guiding, inspiring, and grounding those dreamers who are brave enough to venture into it.
