Despite the worst filming conditions I have ever engaged in, I am thankful I got some solid footage out of it. Coloring isn’t my strongest suit so I passed it along to my good friend Derek. Mad talented. Enjoy.
Love you guys,

Brett - Thank you so much man, I really appreciate it. I wanted it to be natural, like a discovery show. Nothing staged or set up, just raw natural beauty. Derek is very skilled, not only at color, but filmmaking as well. A very good DP.

It’s ridiculous how talented you are, and it’s ridiculous how jealous I am that you were able to see that ocean; man, it DOES blend into the sky! This is beautiful, great job, man.
October 6th, 2009 at 5:53 pm
Very cool. Make you a deal… If you ever want a house built let me know and if I ever need a photographer you will be the first I contact.
October 6th, 2009 at 9:43 pm

Colin - No worries man, I am so glad you enjoyed the video. The video was very organic in a sense. We never posed them, we just followed them. When they stopped I would film them. Even how they just stood was epic in their setting.

Awesome, awesome, and more awesome!
I’m pretty sure every time you do stuff I think “this is probably the best he’s done yet” and then you do something else and it’s even better. Keep it up.
Also, I’m super jealous you got to witness that ocean first hand. But thanks for sharing it!

Breathtaking! Mystery world. Beauty of the nature and its inhabitants.
October 12th, 2009 at 4:42 am
All has been said already and all is true. This is just amazing. Not only to have done this project but to have done it in such a beautiful manner. This is the best testimony one can make to these people who are most often disregarded and considered “rebels” for the state. Usually because they oppose the exploitation of the area they live in, love and respect. Not only you are mad talented but you seed love (this refers also to your story of the whole project)! Thanks.
October 12th, 2009 at 5:42 pm

October 16th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
Simply Breath-taking Cale! I even teared up a bit… you captured these people’s way of life in 4 minutes without a word! And the colors and detail are so captivating! You are truly talented! You have been blessed!
