While I was home, Haley had contacted me about shooting some photos of her.  It was her 1st photo shoot she had ever done.  Starting out she was a bit stiff and I could tell she wasn’t very comfortable.  After shooting and talking for a little while she started loosening up.  We shot on location near 7mile road in Ft. Gibson, Ok.  About an hour into the shoot she, along with Aaron, had been eaten up by bugs.  Aaron Newberry is my good buddy, he assisted me on 2  shoots while I was home.  After we left, we both pulled several ticks off of us…..gross I know.  I still have some big bites on my legs from that shoot.  Guess it didn’t even matter that I had jeans on!

Thanks Haley for being a sport and thanks Aaron for holding my lights up.  Only falling 3 times on a shoot is considered a success ; ).  Here are my selected favorites from the shoot.

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Coachella 2010

posted in Music, Photography, Uncategorized, blog Tuesday, May 04, 2010

A couple weeks back, I happily attended Coachella 2010.  It was absolutely incredible, to say the least.  There were so many incredible acts, I wish I could’ve caught more shows. I can never remember shooting so much in such a short period of time.  I shot around 75gigs of photos in 3 days. Only getting 3 songs per band, and battling tons of other photographers in each pit.  Sifting through thousands and thousands of images, below are a few of my favorite…Jay-Z photos not included in this post.
